Adopting a rescue can be a great experience and watching your chosen pet become part of your family is a wonderful experience.

We rehome Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets, in fact any domestic animal with fur.

All of our animals are given a health check by our Vet; all vaccinations, flea and worming treatment is brought up to date; where required all animals are microchipped and neutered.

Before contacting us, we suggest you look into the type of animal and breed you are thinking of adopting to make sure it is right for you and your family.

Our Adoption Process

  1. All animals available for adoption appear on our website. Once you have found a pet that matches what you are looking for, then contact us via email or call us.
  2. If the pet you have chosen is a good match and, if the pet is still available, we will then discuss the next steps in the process.
  3. We will then arrange a time for you to visit the foster home to meet your chosen pet. This is to help you start to bond with your pet and make sure it is the right decision for you and your family. We will also advise on training tips the pet may need and give you all the veterinary history too. Depending on the individual pet, this may take more than one visit before being able to take the animal home.
  4. It’s now time to take your new pet home. After you sign the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee (prices vary between species from £30 for a Guinea Pig, £65 for a rabbit, £150 for a cat and £400 for a dog), you will then be able to take your new pet home. All Cats and Dogs rehomed by FurBuddies will also come with 5 weeks’ free pet insurance, care of Agria Pet Insurance.
